WORKSHOP AND TRAINING
‘Training programmes and workshops are a valuable tool for knowledge sharing and professional development. They provide a platform for individuals to gather together, learn new skills, exchange ideas, and collaborate on specific topics or projects.’
Vidyalaya has further planned workshops of short duration to be organized at Vidyalaya level for all teachers on Content enrichment through Demonstration/Meeting/ seminars in concern subjects, Communication Skills, Life skills, planning the TLM/Activity and graded assignments/Question Bank etc.
THE OBJECTIVES OF THESE WORKSHOPS ARE:
- To enrich teachers with new strategies and make them equipped to include technology effectively in their teaching.
- Contractual teacher to work efficiently and as effectively as the regular teachers.
- The teacher may express his/her views confidently in school ambiance i.e., student-teacher, teacher-teacher.
- Personality development
- Enabling the teachers to know their strength and weakness.
- Better understanding of various barriers in learning process to cope up effectively with slow bloomers.
- Teacher will be able to prepare & use TLM to achieve Targeted Learning Outcome.
THESE WORKSHOPS WILL INCLUDE:
- Session every fortnight to be taken by HM/PRTs in rotation.
- Session for innovative practices by teachers.
- Demonstration is to be conducted for contractual teachers by regular teachers.
4.Language programme in morning assembly.
- Use of extended time for capacity building programme .
- Various competitions under CCA such as debate, extempore, etc.
- language games.
- Sensitization of the teachers by means of orientation programme.
- Organizing activities such as Role plays, Group Discussion, case studies, etc.
- Subject wise demonstrations by HM & senior teachers.
Additionally, Vidyalaya has conducted capacity building workshops on use of TLM/ICT. The main area of concern was preparation of technology added content and effective teaching through online mode. Teachers were briefed about preparation of online material and use of technology in effective online teaching.
Workshops for underachieving teacher were also organized. These workshops included the following topics:
- Use of CAL/TAL in Social Science to enrich teachers with concerned skills.
- Activity based teaching in Science to enrich teachers with concerned skills.
- Communicative skills in Hindi and English to achieve fluency and to use language effectively as per the standard of the learning group
4.Solving numerical in Mathematics to enrich teachers with concerned skills.
