The board of governors, KVS has approved introduction of fun day in primary section on every Saturday (Except 2nd Saturday).
Our sole motive to conduct Funday is to provide students a new outlook towards life and learning. The objective of Funday is to mature children at the young age and bring out the hidden talent in different fields. The students need not bring text books and note books, but they will bring food, colour, drawing books, craft items etc.
On this day various types of activities like Diya Decoration ( classes 1-3) Diya making with clay and Diya Decoration (classes 4-5), Yoga , Speaking English, Poem recitation, Story telling ,Sports and games , Yoga ,Art and craft ,Film Show, Mental Maths ,Riddles , Music and dances were conducted in year 2026-2027, to make students mentally sound & motivated towards learning.
These funday activities have encouraged our young enthusiasts to explore their environment, develop muscle strength and coordination, gain self-confidence and Creativity. All the Primary students do yoga that enhances children’s concentration and memory. One of the top benefits of kids’ yoga is that the different types of moves require children to focus and work on their memorization skills—both of which can translate over into their academic performance.
“Without music, life would be a blank. There is music in every child. Students practiced and learnt songs with music teacher and enjoyed it.
Students showed their hidden and creative talent in making diya with clay. They decorated diyas beautifully.
We will continue these funday activities in the current session, for children’s encouragement and to achieve our targeted goals.
