About KV No.1 Chhindwara

PM SHRI KV No-1 Chhindwara is run by KVS an autonomous body formed under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and have a common syllabus and curriculum of studies. This centre of excellence which was established in 1993 as a civil school is situated in Tribal Museum Campus Chhindwara and now running in a permanent building at Dharamtekri Chhindwara. This Vidyalaya has the strength of around 1868 students & 74 staff on rolls and has all along been striving to achieve academic excellence and development in the total personality of the students. It has 2 section in both the shift and for XI and XII are running in first shift with all streams. The Vidyalaya has all the facilities meant for the children to grow mentally, morally and physically. Active involvement of parents and guardians is expected for all-round development of the students and the Vidyalaya. We strongly believe that staff members of KV No-1 Chhindwara and parents can together develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among the students who are the nation’s builders and pillars. The teachers of Vidyalaya are committed to prepare students for life in the 21st century. The KV provides opportunities to its students to participate in various activities. The Vidyalaya participates in Games, Sports and other activities organized locally and also at Inter KV level by the KVS.
